Installing this Plugin
1. Backup LotusCMS 2.0 installation
2. Unzip folder contents to installation directory of LotusCMS it will overwrite/create necessary folders. Click "ok" to any "Will Overwrite" dialogs.
3. Add to the <head> section of your current template the line:
- Code: Select all
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="admin/plugins/news/display/basic/style.css" />
4. Using FTP CHMOD the "LOTUSCMS_2.0_DIR/admin/plugins/news/data" to 777. (If you don't do this you won't be able to add any posts or do anything).
5. Log into administration. go to "LOTUSCMS_2.0_DIR/admin/index.php?plugin=news&page=admin".
7. If the News Plugin Administration appears all is working fine.
8. Go to "LOTUSCMS_DIR/index.php?page=news" in your browser.
9. The News Page will appear.
10. Link to the "news" page to allow users to access news.
